Restitution should be so much easier for the families of WWII. If a family can show provenance (proof) that the artwork belongs to them... give it back! So many pieces were "lost" (stolen) during WWII that anyone holding artwork has an obligation to make things right. Keep it in a museum, take a tax write-off, but give it back to the surviving family. That Klimt may not be yours....

Considering the subject matter, I would have thought that the Nazis would have considered it "decadent" and destroyed it. Fortunately, their hypocrisy endured its preservation.
