FlipFlopsMom, I was and he was a good president. So sorry the president who saved us from a Great Depression and got 23 million Americans healthcare was the worst president in your eyes. Must have been the color of his skin.

USCFANinKY
hey genius the worst president is currently residing @ 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

Ediona
It was the inability of the Carter administration to handle the Iran hostage crisis that doomed his chance at a second term, and that had been "fixed" by Oliver North for the Reagan election. Curious that the hostages were released on the day of Reagan's inauguration.
It was a scandal...😡🤬

Player #6623050
I like Jimmy Carter he's a fine Christian man.

GrimSpace481
a good man

R&R
For some reason I thought it was kind of funny seeing president Clinton's name there

wesley
well he did some great things, he also did some disastrous ones. he threw the Shah of Iran under the bus and brought the Ayatollah Khomeini back from exile to control Iran and terrorists worldwide. he sold the Panama canal for $1, and was taking photo opportunities to carry his own suitcase, which according to secret service people was empty. and how about the 18% inflation.

Yh
May he rest in peace, along with Rosalynn

pyro Ogre
He was a good man and his heart was in the right place. His presidency was a disaster however.

Sista

Outstanding human being ! One of the greatest humanitarians of the late 20th/early 21st centuries. Habitat for Humanity and the Carter Center benefited greatly from his aid and wisdom. I will miss him !

Carters quote. The test of a government is not how popular it is with the powerful and privileged few but how honesty and fairly it deals with the many who depend on it…. A amazing person

marimargo
So many facets to a person. Many people don't realize the qualities of a person when the press wants to discredit someone.

leo
TMASymonds13, Horrible president yes but did not give away the Panama canal it was a hydrogen deal with Panama

leo
AliBobba, after Bush? would have been Clinton or Obama depends on which Bush. worst is in office right now

Player #3575143, thank you, I will always take a better man as a president.

Player #121999846
Many Americans thought he would be a one termed President and never be heard or seen from again, but he is undeniably a real genuine human being who has done so much for humanity. Losing his wife recently was sad indeed. Thanks for everything President Carter.

8up
Good man, bad president, not as bad as the current one though.

Lionessa
Mark, It was OPEC, not the oil companies. It's not profitable to NOT sell gas.

Lionessa
Wynn, The release date of the hostages was a political ploy intended to embarass Jimmy Carter and show him disrespect. It had nothing to do with Reagan.

Ruairi
TMASymonds13, even more Panama me lost there's. it should have always been there property.

Ruairi
William, yeah not even close. 45 got that title hundred times over.

Wynn
Ediona, I disagree. What was strange was they were released on the same day of Reagan's inauguration. Since he wasn't President at the time and had no power or position in the Carter administration to be able to have a seat at the table to broker a deal. Timing is everything, I suspect that the Carter administration was working tirelessly behind the scenes for the 400 plus days the hostages were held and Reagan got the credit. Oliver North took the fall for Reagan. Reagan was either clueless or incompetent either way, POTUS couldn't be seen as such to the people.

Mark
In his 90s and still building houses for Habitat For Humanity.
I still think the energy crisis of the 70s was orchestrated by the energy companies to discredit him.
