Corrosion is a process of chemical erosion. Rocks or stones can be eroded as water gets into cracks and holes and dissolves the rock through chemical changes. This process can occur with acid rain, moving water (rivers, waves)

Rachel , well... technically, water is a liquid above 32 degrees, or below 235ish

& water is a liquid (@ room temperature)

corrosion could also be applicable to water as it has a corrosive effect on land/rocks etc
