What was Hoover Dam in Nevada originally called?
Correct answer: Boulder Dam
WaldoLydeker
Herbert Hoover was a brilliant engineer. The only scientist to become President. The rest were lawyers, etc but none that could master, say, calculus. Alas, he was the goat for the Great Depression.
Birdiemom
It was ORIGINALLY named Hoover Dam. Roosevelt objected to that name because he and Hoover were political rivals. It was later changed back.
