He’s the father of the cell phone but he’s also the father of people no longer looking at each other space and having a decent conversation with each other. He has actually stopped real socialization. Maybe I shouldn’t blame him and blame all of us who have looked at our cell phones as people and people as nothing.

I know a lot of the negative mobile phone comments are just kidding. And I don't want to ruin their fun but... the life saving ability of a mobile phone in an emergency situations is huge. Whether a car crash, other accident, getting lost, being in a hostile environment or a woman in a threatening situation a mobile phone saves lives.

Lizzi, Cell phones are very useful in an emergency. If you don’t like them don’t use them. You can always use carrier pigeons if cell phones are not to your liking.

Dan, I'm guessing when he envisioned it, he never imagined a touch screen device that could literally let you find the answer to almost every question ever posed and listen to any music ever created, play videos, games and find out the weather. I'm guessing he just wanted to be able to ring his mum when he was out and about haha
