luckylisa1760, you are correct-Tesla was a genius. His engineering prowess was far ahead of his comtemporaries, many of whoch stole from him (Edison and Marconi come to mind). It is a tragedy that he died penniless.

unfortunately everyone thought he was crazy. He died broke and alone. "The Current War" is an excellent movie about when electricity was invented. It's about Edison, Westinghouse, and Tesla.

From the first time I learnt about house electricity, I heard only about Edison. Until I watched 'The Current War' movie that I learnt about Tesla. Edison invented bulb lamp, Tesla made Edison's bulb light up our houses.
