In what year did the American Civil War officially end?

Enslaving human beings is the ultimate sick cruelty one could ever imagine. We are all of this earth. Every color, every race, every religion, every EVERYTHING. The planet belongs to all of us. Let’s take care of it and that includes taking care of each other. If we are not inclined to love and respect our fellow human beings, then the Earth as we know it is doomed for failure and destruction. It doesn’t take a dozen Ph.D.s to figure that out either.
