I LOVED gymnastics. But I got too tall too quickly. I'm not even that tall (5'8.5") but for. gymnastics... My son was OBSESSED with gymnastics.
With me being 5'8.5" tall and my husband (his dad) being 6'3"There was NO DOUBT he would outgrow the sport. And he did. He is 17 now and is 6'4".
And no. He emphatically dislikes Basketball. Lol.

I've been on swim teams most of my young adult years (high school & college & grad school). Never had a black teammate. I always thought that it probably wasn't a sport they excelled at. Not so with track and field! Those guys/gals were unstoppable.
