I am Choctaw/Irish. The Choctaws gathered what little funds they had left, after the Trail of Tears. They then sent these funds to Ireland to help the people going through the Great Famine. Recently, the people of Ireland built a Beautiful monument, in the form of a large circle of Feathers, as a thank you to the Choctaw Nation.

I am a true Irish Bostonian. Being Irish in this area seems to be glorified. Many people claim to have Irish roots when they do not. I m what they call 2 boat Irish. my ancestors immigrated to Canada then to Boston. its all crazy you should be proud of your heritage wherever it may be. you do not have to be Irish to be from Boston!

I would have thought NY would be on the list because of all the police shows where all the officers seem to be Irish. I'm Irish and German.

Although not Irish personally, I grew up in Chicago, and lived in Boston or the Boston Metro for eight years. Chicago should be on the list.

Sandyberry, You should watch videos on YouTube, "Irish people try new things for the first time". Such as different alcohols, southern cooking, or spicy foods, it's Hilarious.... Plus you'll get a good dose of the Irish accent...
