Growing up in Minnesota, we put Kool Aid in our ice cube trays, stuck in toothpicks and created our own popsicles. They were delicious on a hot summer day!

🤔 I wouldn’t expect Oakland California to get cold enough to freeze a glass of liquid solid like that, perhaps slushy. Even in Seattle it would be “iffy”, and we’re far colder. It wouldn’t be unusual………. however, it would still be considered a cold season for us. Even when it snows here, the shallow pond in my yard only gets ice on the surface. I imagine it was an especially frigid night by their standards, not just a random “chilly” night like they made it sound 😂
