GraceSpace - I agree. If one is not allowed to criticise any nation of colour for fear of being labelled racist, what happened to Truth and free speech? For instance, I am against all the current nonsense about gender, but am I free to say so? I am not! Again, what happened to Truth & free speech?

it sounds from the quotes given that he wasn't racist, just a little socially judgemental-- a very long way from racism... if he met people who were very dirty and intransigent he may have branded that part of the society from his own perspective, however the term racist is thrown around far too liberally and should be reserved for those that actively use differences in creed, colour or name as inferior to themselves...

Indira, it's hypocrisy when done with intent but as with all things deeply ingrained in one's society, it's easy to notice it in others but not in oneself. It's easy to point out racist behavior in others and then justify similar behavior in ourselves (particularly a scientist will put this down on statistical observation backed by data)

Being racist, or having any other opinion, is an individual choice. A whole group can never be given a certain trait, as it consists of individuals with so many different ways of thinking and doing.

Andrew, I struggle with the word(s) 'racist/racism'....many people get prejudice(d) confused with racist. I can have prejudices, but not hate a race of people. However, true racism is hating a race of people, which is illogical and ignorant. Nowhere in the Bible does Abba Father condone hating another person. Hate sin, not the human being. God is the one and only Judge. There will be consequences for all sin....but God will be the Judge and determine what that consequence will be. Most humans fixate on punishment as we feel an eye for an eye is justified for many tragic/horrific instances, but God will judge, not humans....Thank God! Forgiveness doesn't mean there aren't lessons for all mankind to learn. Blessings!

The Whole Idea is that WE here in the USA have to for the first time in its EXISTENCE take that COURAGEOUS step to “peel the onion of racial hatred back layer by layer by SIMPLY having a SERIOUS conversation about the beginning of this country’s birth n movement of slaves from 1619 in Charleston South Carolina The plain simple truth that can be TOLD without malice n contempt by HONEST qualified historians n educators is CRITICAL for the next generation to be able to piece together their OWN historical Truth. Slaves built the ORIGINAL White House look it up! The free labor afforded to land owners both North n South n the complete DESTRUCTION of the mind body n soul of another HUMAN BEING as well as the family is a hard pill to swallow but it is the only way out of this malaise this country is going THROUGH!!

Actually Caucasians are not the only people guilty of race prejudice. I think of the Caste system in India. Blacks are prejudice towards blacks of mixed race and the same with Asians. The children are persecuted terribly

it's a very complex matter, speaking your mind about certain aspects automatically classify you as racist but is it? there are many aspects I dislike about my people and have nothing to do with race 🤷🏻‍♀️, since race is a social construct. Biologically speaking the concept of race is very much different as the majority of people perceive it

Not all people. My mom taught me to leve everyone and treat them equal as Jesus did. I never knew there was racism until I was at my uncle's in Texas. Sadly I thought less of him from that day on.
