What is acrophobia a fear of?

I am not afraid of heights or falling. It is the impact with the ground that scares me.

I used to climb mountains up to about 3000 feet . Now if I even see climbing in a film , my knees go to jelly . In fact any sort of high view in a film will do the trick . Vader and Luke fighting on the tower in the Star Wars movie , does the trick every time. The Nine going through Moria, same .
